Electric Mobility have made many additions to their Rascal range of mobility scooters over the last few years and all have proven to be popular and reliable. Now they have added another model, the Rascal Vippi, a modern lightweight transportable mobility scooter for days out and trips away.

Simplicity and lightweight construction are the focus when considering if the Vippi is the mobility scooter for you. It comes apart easily for transportation and storage and the heaviest section once disassembled weighs just under 34 lbs, making it more manageable than some rival models. Solid, puncture proof tyres, an adjustable swivel seat and a well designed Delta tiller are all standard features.

Although it is lightweight by design, the Vippi is still very robust for this type of scooter, with a maximum user weight of 20.4 stone and a maximum range just under 12 miles between charges, both impressive compared to some more expensive models. It is also compact, measuring just under 40" long and having a small turning circle. The front basket is easily removed and you can even take the battery box into the house to charge and leave the Vippi in the boot.
